Prosonic Flow 91W is, like the general purpose flowmeters Prosonic Flow 90/93, applicable on most pipe systems used for water services, e.g. mild steel, stainless steel, ductile iron, PVC, PE, GRP etc. The new Prosonic flow 91, unlike existing products, is a viable commercial alternative to conventional water service flow meters on pipes sizes below DN300.

The compact and smart design of the transmitter in combination with the tooling package supports safe and easy use from the stage of planning, throughout the installation, commissioning and maintenance phases. The comprehensive tooling package consists of the sizing software Applicator Sizing, the plant asset management tool FieldCare based on FDT technology and the test and simulation tool Fieldcheck.

Applicator Sizing provides the actual sensor spacing based on the specific application data. This feature

allows off-site preparation of the mechanical installation. The spacing information is provided to the

installer who just needs to mount the sensor installation set accordingly. The mounting ruler supports a precise sensor position resulting in accurate flow measurement. Picture 2 indicates the easiness of the mounting procedure.

FieldCare is the Endress+Hauser FDT based Plant- Asset-Management Tool. It offers remote configuration

and status monitoring of all intelligent Field devices including Prosonic Flow 91W via the HART interface.
