Reduce maintenance costs on olefins quenching

The formation of emulsions during ethylene quenching can be costly

The production of olefins feedstock is steam-cracked at high temperatures in a cracking furnace. This creates different reactions which are stopped by quenching the produced gas mixture with water. The mixture, to extract the main product ethylene, is then separated in several compression and fractionation steps. Emulsification problems after quenching can lead to severe fouling, or loss of efficiency and frequent maintenance checks in the process..

Accurate pH measurement on regular intervals

Reliable pH measurement with a minimum amount of maintenance help you have complete control of the quenching water for higher efficiency. With our fully automated Topical system you can clean and calibrate outside of the process. This prolongs the sensors life and reduces the technicians time efforts.
